EPS INVEST IN NEW WELDER

EPS Services & Tooling has taken delivery of our new Vollmer Wide Bandsaw Butt welder. The new Vollmer MA311 butt welding machine has been purchased to replace our existing Alligator MA411 butt welder.

The Vollmer MA311 utilises the MIG process for welding and repairing band saw blades. The ends of the saw blade are fixed to the welding bench by quick-release clamps. The automatic welding process then begins, whereby the torch is precision-guided over the entire blade width. The blade remains in position both for pre-heating and subsequent annealing. The temperature can be regulated and the annealing time is adjustable via a timer switch
